Two sides of Minecraft Twitter currently: "ugh mojang isnt making any good updates recently bruhhhh" "HE JUMPED FOR THE BEEF???"
Him re-explaining how the civilization works every few minutes feels like the video where the guy tries to beat Minecraft with dementia
this feels like something kid me would've watched on old school youtube and i'm so here for it
“Don’t jump for the beef” I can imagine that becoming an actual phrase, not ironic, an actual phrase. And people just use it having no idea where it comes from, such as: “you wanna go for a 1000? No Lucas it’s not worth it! Don’t jump for the beef!” In 2086
I love the Yugioh logic of "if i beat you at this thing, you have to let me ___" we need more stories with this premise
That "no why did he go for the beef!!?!?!?" sounded so raw and emotional :face-blue-smiling::face-blue-smiling::face-blue-smiling:
the storyline, the foreshadowing, the character development, the world building. twitter wasn't lying, this is true peak cinema.
Evbo giving a recap on parkour civilization every 30 minutes:
"I... am EVBO_..." -Jack Black, moments before attempting the 1 block vertical for the beef
Steven Spielberg apparently cried after watching Parkour Civilization, saying things like “Evbo is a true visionary” and “I could never match up to such a film.”
if the parkour civilization gimmick wasn't played completely straight this series wouldn't work. even at the end evbo doesn't even reform society as the champion, he just makes parkour civilization marginally more fair. he knows not of the world that came before him, and cannot imagine outside its bounds. it's hilarious
This is better than Minecraft movie 🍿🎥
dude every time he says "parkour" "civilisation" "jump" and other parkour related words it feels like a mini lobotomy its so hecking fun
I adore how this isn't edited to trim out any of the recap since this was an episodic series and so you're constantly re-explaining things that happened literal seconds beforehand
As a 21 year old man who hasn’t played minceraft in years, I think watching this is the most unemployed thing I’ve ever done. I don’t regret it.
Looking forward to the post-apocalyptic future in which bards recite this entire video from memory like The Iliad.
31:55 YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE HIM FALLING FROM GETTING A TIP OMFG THIS HAS THE BEST FORESHADOWING I'VE EVER SEEN
The amount of re-explaning makes me feel like im having a lobotomy in real time it is actually impressive.
never thought i would legitimately sit down and watch a 2 hour minecraft movie about parkour
