Most of the plants you have were suffering from shipping stress and needed time to acclimate before they would trap effectively. The right conditions are also needed to see these plants at their best. Light, humidity and water are very important to these plants. Generally, use RO, distilled or rainwater is a must. They really needed at least two weeks to recover from shipping to do what you wanted them to.
2:20 because it just came out of shipping. and it still has the tape on it ! you should have waited a few days and put it in to full sun where its warm and the plant can get energy out of the sun
The venus flytrap was slow beacuse since it was shipped it probably was deprived of sun for a few days. If you want it to be fast you need to give it A LOT of sun and of course dont forget to water it every 2-3 days with distilled/demineralized/rain water
To make the Venus fly trap close faster, you just have to water the fly tarp
I used to think Venus fly traps were animals💀
Venus flytraps needs lots of direct sun to close faster! The traps will also get redder the more sun they get. Yours closed very slowly because they were probably light starved and stressed from shipping. The same goes for the Sundew and Butterwort (Butterworts don't need as much light as Flytraps and Sundews, a couple hours a day should do). They will produce more sticky dew once they get enough sunlight and proper watering. Happy growing!
Welcome back JOHN ! ❤❤❤ I liked my own comment
Nice. I really like your content
You dont want to close the traps without food in it, they start to consume itself. The condition of these plants is quite awful looking, but I am not an expert of any kind :D
