@MyVeryOwnStylist

Great to hear such a positive discussion. As an experienced Stylist/Seamstress, my clients who embrace pre-loved are more stylish! I was delighted with your prediction that pre-loved will overtake fast-fashion ā¤ & the women seller v mens buyer - fascinating. 🌸

@micheldumont292

I upcycled a vintage dress from the 60s and Lily Gladstone wore it to her Fancy Dance film premiere in NY last summer. I added jingles and then she told Vogue that my dress was medicine. I am humbled that my second hand interest is now on a world stage. the kids are all right !

@lesleymathews463

I have been enjoying second-hand clothes for years now. After a while it makes you feel like a chump to buy new clothes. Excellent video. I bet the fast-fashion industry is squirming

@ethelantelope

The problem with cheap new clothes esp high street cheap brands is that they don’t have the life cycle of quality pieces. This means they end up in landfill quicker and therefore halting the lifecycle of quality second hand clothes

@pro100olga

Buying 2nd hand is definitely better than buying new (esp fast fashion), but we need to buy less in the firat place. Business is teying to make us think we need many clothes, new clothes - but we don't

@mayenudden8124

very helpful video.

@pro100olga

2nd hand will overtake fast fashion? I wonder what's the source of this data - definitely would be great, but does not look like it's going that way

@MarckKnitwear

I have been buying and wearing second hand clothing for decades and the quality is second to none!!!

@paulacoyle5685

I love secondhand clothes, but I do not like all the perfume… and laundry product perfumes are the worst! I wish people would stop using them because I can sometimes smell people 20 yards down the road if the wind is coming towards me. Gives me a migraine if I have to spend any time breathing it in.

And it is so hard to get out of the clothes …

@User-pu3lc

The only revolution are people not being able to afford new, quality clothing like they used to.

@singha6

Great initiative! I’ve been wearing second hand clothes for more than 40 years now. But how does the Loopi business model differ from Vinted?

@erikagoesaround

Maybe we should just buy less regardless of new or secondhand. This kind of shop makes people feel unguilty about their dispose, and keep doing the insane shopping...

@ilektrakaratasiou3352

Second hand is for those wealthy families that have quality clothes that they want altered or repaired. It is like finding a gem human that has been married before with or without kids. Their fine character knly gets better with time.

I came across smart mums who wanted me to repair clothes as they didn't wish to buy all new expensive items for £100s..

@ambedkarkorapati3870

Me and my friend! I am afraid that this is not expected from native speakersšŸ˜…

@Cassandra-..-

Wow, Loopi sounds so much more convenient for the seller than ThreadUp. I tried selling six items and bought back three. The experience cost me more than I made.

@Mitch_Kelly

No, poverty is, cunned stunts

@darinakalinova2180

So all the hype is buy branded clothing 2nd hand ...... not realsing that breands are for the poor.

@h.f3544

second hand is just for poor countries.
