Gosh I would never recommend Lombok over Bali. A big thing to remember is that Bali is so much more popular than the rest of Indonesia is that it’s a very different culture. I’d go back to Ubud and other quiet parts of Bali in a heartbeat but even if the trip was free I’d probably still not choose to return to Lombok.
Every destination is hell during a peak season and every destination can be magical and beautiful if you make it that way. I'm always just happy anywhere I am because I'm on a trip, away from home, living a different life for a few days, it's always magical. Don't listen to influencers or deinfluencers, if you want to go, go. And make it amazing trip with your attitude, not expectations.
The laugh I laughed when you also said Bali 😂😂
I never queued for selfies so Bali was wonderful.
(as a mexican) mexico city was having protests by local natives due to overtourism, mostly from americans. white americans, presumably. idk if that’s still an issue, i don’t live there anymore.
Thank you for the hairstyle! Easy, fast and super cute!
I live in Bali, and there are a lot of amazing places you can go to without waiting in lines and getting drunk, but your point still stands, as a child I had 3 amazing holidays in Flores, and they were some of my favourite holidays of all time, I would also love to go to Raja Ampat, but it’s super expensive so I am working towards it, the Banda islands are also cool, same with Belitung, and the thousand islands off of Jakarta, and so much more, if you like going to factory outlets then Bandung is a good option, and I don’t know how much stuff is there, but Krakatoa is also beautiful One good thing about Bali is that there is so much to do, it’s easy to get around, the food is amazing and you can get pretty much any cuisine you want, there are also amazing hospitals, so if you get sick it will be easier to find help than in quiet areas, also people are excellent at English so it is easy to communicate with locals
That green top with your hair style looks super cute
Venice is an April or October city, much like Athens. You're going to be out walking around a lot so you don't want it too hot
Try mount rinjani in Indonesia if you want something lowkey and admist nature
Omg finally someone who shares my opinion on Bali
With Venice, and most other big European cities, just book your place to live one train stop away in Padova for example. You'll save hundreds of dollars and can take the train for 20 minutes and see Venice during the day.
Can you explain your highlights from Puebla? My parents travelled there in the 90s and I grew up hearing not so great stories. I imagine today it’s very different. Curious to hear your thoughts ❤
Thanks for mentioning Mexico City. It’s such a wonderful place, and tourists seem to think that Mexico is only Cancun and beach destinations. Puebla, and the rest of the center of the country has a climate so different, and an insanely amount of culture as well.
Flores is amazing!
Erm literally one of these photos is from nusa penida and island just off the coast of Bali and the only way to get there is via bali
You're literally influencing by telling viewers where to go instead 😂
I'd add Paris to this list. It's just a stinky, busy, expensive city, full of scammers. Anything romantic is gone. I'd say even London is prettier than Paris
Venus in November was in fact wonderful, can confirm. +the city doesn’t smell too bad because the sun isn’t cooking the polluted water 😅
