โ€œTake me homeโ€ is a crazy way to fool people to buy stuff

@maricutadunca_613

"TAKE ME HOME" in capital letters but the price for a short-sighted(written in lowercase)person is definitely FORCED TO BUY๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

@Anna_65

I don't want my hotel room to be a store. I want it to be a bedroom.

@fyeelessarndra3392

ex-hotel worker here, you also can't take: towels, room slippers (the thick kind, the flimsy paper-like slippers are fine), clothes hangers, table runners and/or bed runners, cushions, hairdryer, iron & iron board, socket adaptors, trays (ashtray, food tray, bathroom tray etc.) and bathroom mat. I think there's a few more I missed but yeah, these are usually things that goes "missing" in hotel rooms.

@nope2075

Ross Gellar vibes. ๐Ÿ˜‚ donโ€™t forget the batteries in the remote and the light bulbs.

@its_foi

Thereโ€™s also American hotels and cruise lines that offer water, but charge $4+ a bottle. They would bait you to buy a pack of the same water bottles for less. ๐Ÿ˜…

@naly202

As if i didn't have enough stuff at home... Why would anyone want to take things from hotels? I don't understand some people.
When I stay at a hotel, I only take the tiny soap/ sampoo bottles that I've used.

Welcome to Hong Kong!!! I live there but moved to America, hope you enjoy Hong Kong though!!!!โคโค

@marshmellowbear5663

Not a hotel but a restaurant. Asked for a bottle of water. They got it to me at the end of my meal. I returned the bottle saying i didnt need it by then and itโ€™s unopened. The owner looked me in the eye and said he cant restock an item thatโ€™s been removed from the shelf. I said just take it and put it back right behind you because you brought it to me too late. He raised both hands like Iโ€™m holding him hostage ๐Ÿ™ˆ then he charged me for a bottle at three times the normal price. Thatโ€™s why he insisted on not putting it back. i swear greed runs both ways- in customers and businesses too ๐Ÿ˜‚

@Lastsummerchance

Is people really so obsessed with taking things from the hotel? I've never had that urge and never took a thing.

@taniaart1559

These robes have been washed and worn many times before you. It's better not to take them home. I work in a hotel. And it's better not to drink from the mugs in the hotel either.
