@Purplers

I've been getting a lot of comments saying I didn't follow the instructions correctly, so I thought I should mention that being a redstoner myself, I could immediately tell the AI had absolutely no clue how to build a simple redstone circuit. It's something that's probably a lot less obvious to people who don't make redstone

Lots of the instructions were very ambiguous, so I had to guess what the AI wanted me to do. Even if I followed the instructions "properly", the redstone still wouldn't have worked. The AI just didn't know how to make redstone xD

@beginneratstuff

Obviously the discord bot wins because it didn't claim to know how to do something it doesn't know how to do, and when it did explain how to do something, it got it right. Accuracy over quantity, always

@humourlessjester3584

Love how Bard answered the redstone question of the minecart station the same way as a minecraft builder who's never touched redstone in his life.

@drowzypollinator640

Ai being able to admit when it doesn't have the answer is more of a win than getting it totally wrong.

@fgmgNoob

2:11 "add some automation" is a redstoners equivalent of a builder telling you to "add a little bit of detail"

@DragonAurora109

The fact that the clyde AI actually made a functional piston door is insane

@sagitswag1785

I think the problem here was how you structure your prompts (especially in the clyde example). Dont ask them to do things for you. Ask them to give you a step by step guide on how you can do that thing instead.

@TimeBucks

Bing Chat is so good at Minecraft

@justamicrowave5297

Bing chat is basically just that one owl meme that goes “step 1. Draw 2 circles
Step 2. Draw the rest of the fucking owl”

@Super-Animation

I legit was shocked when Clyde correctly described how to build a 2x2 door

@fatchipps

for clyde I think it would need a prompt more like "Give me instructions to build ____" rather than just asking it to build it for you.

@Hlebuw3k

That Discord 2x2 actually brought a tear to my eyes. It's like I saw someone truly worthless redeem themselves.

@CambloxAnimations

7:23 I think the reason it made you use powered rails is because it slows down the train/minecart so it will use it the same way a regular station would, to slow them down to allow passengers to enter and exit.

@TSPxEclipse

To be fair, Bard actually did technically tell you how to build a minecart station. It just didn't know you meant that you wanted a simple system that can stop and start a minecart depending on the power status of the rail(s).

@snipes_1138

Speaking to Clyde is a bit of a art. You have to convince it can do what you want it to do most of the time.

@Lampe2020

Maybe you should have given Clyde and MyAI a second chance by asking if they can describe how to build the thing you wanted in MC.

@Catmaster_124

4:06 smaily face 😊

@ArtThingies

Some say, he is still placing that sticky piston to this very day.

@FabbeNJ369

With the two last AI’s, try asking if they can tell you how to build the Redstone, instead of building one. Then it may work better

@TheBcoolGuy

You have to specify to Clyde that you want instructions on how to build it, a guide. Not that you want it to go into Minecraft and build it itself.
