I love your video, Andy! Mexico City is my hometown! Add to your list: el Castillo de Chapultepec, Coyoacán, la condesa, la zona rosa, Garibaldi, museo de antropología e historia, museo Tamayo, centro cultural arte contemporáneo, palacio de bellas artes, man, so many nice places to visit. Thanks for your videos. They are really nice!
Absolutely loved this video, Andy!! I'm continually amazed at the beauty of Mexico. Ps: music is spot on! 🧡
I did this once with a friend and we ate at the restaurant. We loved it! Love Mexico City! There is a Metro Bus that you can take directly from the airport to the Centro.
Hey man! I'll be back in CDMX next month! Hoorah! I'll also be in Oaxaca for DDLM! Would be great to meet up!
Excellent video. Looking forward your next travelogue..
Valuable insights. Thank you.
It is called thermal inversion when the sky clears, part is smog and part is foggy ...
Andy, what were the names of those two hotels you recommended in MC?
Hi Andy. What were those two hotels you recommended in Mexico City. Can’t find it now. Thanks
Andy, I have a few questions that came to mind. Upon arriving in Mexico City for a layover of 10 hours, what do you recommend regarding exchanging our dollars to pesos, Getting a hold of Uber on our current cell phone plan and adding a couple more hours to site see on our layover?
is 8 hours enough layover time to get a small dose of Mexico City?
For the more adventurous, there's a metro stop near the airport. 5 pesos per ride, or free if you're a citizen/resident and have an INAPAM card. I think all of the INAH museums are also free with the INAPAM card as well (Templo Mayor is, as is Teotihuacan, Palacio Bellas Artes, el castillo in Chapultapec park, and the Museo Nacional de Antropología). I was in Acapulco last July and flew home to Mazatlán, connecting in México City. Flight was delayed leaving Acapulco and the airline put me in an airport hotel for the night and gave me meal vouchers! I checked in, ran to the subway and made my way to el centro where I had dinner and bummed around for a while before going back to the airport. Too much fun! I told the airline they could delay my flights any time they wanted! Remember though, all the museums and Chapultapec park are closed on Mondays, so make sure your layover is on a different day!
