Damn... no Rock Lee vs Gaara. While there are plenty of awesome fights featured, none etched into my childhood memories quite like Rock Lee vs Gaara. It was a timeless clash that truly elevated Naruto to the status of one of the greatest anime series ever IMO

Ichigo vs Ulquiorra is definitely one of the greatest fights of all time, and one of the best in Bleach. The sheer epicness mixed with the despair felt by Ichigo is unparallelled.

One of favorites which was not mentioned is from a series which has little action, but boy when it does, it is amazing. It's called Moribito, and any of the fights qualify, but specifically I'm thinking of Balsa VS the king's hunters. Balsa fends off a coordinated and highly skilled unit of assassins after the prince. The fight really showcases her skill with the spear and although the fight ends in a draw with her wounded, her weapon broken, and having to escape she dished out just as much punishing damage to her 5 opponents. Smoothly animated by production IG, very well coordinated, and topped off with a Kenji Kawai score.

I would add samurai champloo in there. That assassin fight where it was 2 v 1 was pretty good. The legend of Korra had a lot of nice fights.

Really damn good list, a few id include are gaara vs rock lee, ssj2 goku vs majin vegeta, goku/frieza/17 vs jiren, the sao star burst stream fight from seaon 1, recently the fight in solo lvling against the crimson knight, and definitely Akame vs Esdeath. The list could be like 100 times longer with all the amazing anime fights out there, just in Fairy Tail alone you could add another 15 or more
