@FocusRx

Are there any other pros and/or cons that you guys would add to the list?

@alexanderpetrovich7792

I graduated in 1990 when pharmacy school was 2 years of pre-pharmacy and 4 years of pharmacy school for a total of 6 years. Now schools are so competitive that most applicants have a 4-year undergrad, then 4 years of pharmacy school and 1 year of residency and perhaps a 1 year fellowship. That is 10 years of school, you might has well be a medical doctor.

Soooo informative and inspiring. I’ve had a hard time committing to this career as a student, even though I do love it, but you’ve brought so much light to it’s potential. Thank you!

Although there are a ton of negative comments about being a pharmacist, I still love being a pharmacist. Thank you for your video, bring a lot positive vibes to this career.

@Hmboooshkaboo

I’m 13 and I’ve always dreamed of working in the medical field.I’ve done lots of research and I would really like to have this job!! I just got requested for bio advanced for high school and I can’t wait. 😀

@TheBoldPhD

Such a great video! I have a PhD and I am a science writer as well with a focus on writing marketing content for life and health sciences. Loved hearing that you write regulatory documents. Keep up the great work!

@Olivia-wg8gv

idk why “and for some reason you like working with elderly people” made me laugh😂😂

@chloereese594

I love this, this was so helpful!!! I am looking into becoming a pharmacist but I was afraid because of Job saturation, but I think I am going to do it!!

@lindsayhengehold5341

Pharmacists and pharmacist techs have very important jobs and they help a lot of people.

@subatomi34

I have recently come across your channel and I love watching your videos. They’re so informative and it’s motivating me a lot! I’m just finishing up my undergrad and will start applying to pharmacy schools soon.

@awdrifter3394

Pros: money
Cons: education needed

@江寒刀风乱

As a current RN who want to become a hospital pharmacist, I am encouraged

@valeriamarrerodiaz1731

retail is my fave (clock in clock out) like going to a hospital to learn

@opufy

Tuition and time isn’t an issue for me. I’m Canadian and have the luxury of living at my parents with nothing else I can do with my life. So 6 years of school or continue working minimum wage. I can’t create a company or a biz I have no skills.

@stephaniesusana1726

Thank you for always bringing so much value! As always very helpful 😊

@bazmbazm3747

I have been a Pharmacist for 26 yrs . Please Do not listen to this Lady ,do your own research ,Pharmacy is not the profession that it was 10 or 20 yrs ago . In Retrospect, I would never do Pharmacy and I told My children Not to peruse Pharmacy . The insurances most often under pay for the medication that you would dispense and if you work for retailers they treat you like a slave plus there are already so many Pharmacist out there without a job .

@sulthana2040

There are also divisions like
D-pharm
B-pharm
M-pharm
Pharm-D

@geraldmiller5343

I've heard a lot about magic mushrooms, DMT, LSD but can't find a place to get them, I've got terrible depression and anxiety

@HateDietPepsi

Pharmacist's salaries are coming down or have been stagnant for over a decade. There is no pay gap. If you can't get your degree for less than $85K of student loans then it isn't worth it.

@antonioestevez5958

Imagine studying for 10+ years and pilling up $300k+ in debt and earning roughly $120k and being 30years old.
Think about it.
