I got mine tied at 23 after 2 kids. I had to sign some papers, and that was it. It's crazy how some doctors will do it and some won't.
You do what's best for you and your body.
The way I felt soooo pressured during my postpartum appointments to be on birth control, but had to stand firm on my decision. We do what works for us!!
I was on birth control forever, had crippling depression too. I FINALLY learned that birth control depletes your body of B vitamins, the very vitamins needed to boost serotonin / mood. My doctors never told me any of this! I’ve been off birth control for years and supplement with super B complex, Vit d3/k2 and magnesium - all help with mood and anxiety. I also do lemon balm drops under tongue for anxiety. I recommend all of this!
Tubes tied at 24!!! Never regretted it.. the best thing I’ve ever done..
I'm glad you're saying this. There's so much they don't tell you
I truly believe birth control contributed to my PCOS. Its still am experimental drug that we don't know the true long term effects for. Love that you speak your mind ❤
Lesson: DON’T be allll hum muh nuh huh 😂
Stopping bc was great for me honestly. Helped me understand my cycle without fake horomes.
I’m so glad you’re saying this. Birth control made me so crazy in the head, it makes anxiety/depression so much worse! You know your own body and mind the best, keep doing what’s best for u and those precious babies ❤
Tracking your cycle is a game changer! Also taking your temp before you get out of bed can help you know when you’re ovulating. Your temp drops about 1 degree from your norm when you’re ovulating. Tracking my temp helped me get pregnant for the first time and it can help you plan your future too!
Definitely do what works for you, everyone is different! After my 3rd baby at 21, I asked my Dr about getting tied. She advised against it bc I was so young. I was a little annoyed but I listened to her. I’m so glad I did because even though my hubby & I didn’t have more babies, I’m thankful I had the option open for the past 10 years.
I’ve had my IUD for 12 years and have had no issues….I love it.
The docs tied my tubes at 24 after I had my 2nd kid. You should find another OBGYN.
You DO NOT have to explain yourself to anyone.❤ Body clean is the way to go. You're smart and insightful.
I agree Paige, your body and your choice... You know what works best for you and your body ❤️😊
Your body is telling you , and you are a GREAT listener ❤️❤️❤️
Vasectomy is the best bet. He can get it reverse if y’all decide y’all want more kids.
My mom just talked to me about getting back on BC today after I have my baby. I hate being on it so much and have tried multiple different methods. Her and my OB have been pressuring me to make a decision and it’s invading. My body my choice. Thanks mama p for sharing ❤
