@Lovver420

I want to start by saying that I fully respect everyone’s personal reasons for parting with their record collections. Whether it’s due to financial necessity or a desire to pursue a new chapter—like in Chris’s case, starting a new business—I understand those decisions are never easy.

That said, speaking as someone who’s been collecting records since my teenage years and is now 50, I personally can’t imagine selling my entire collection without feeling some deep sense of regret eventually.

For me, unless I were facing a life-threatening illness or an emergency that required urgent surgery, I don’t think I could ever bring myself to let go of it. Because it’s not just about the music—it’s about the memories attached to each record. If you’re a true collector, you know that every album holds a story. You remember where you bought it, what city or country you were in, what stage of life you were going through, or who you were with. Without these physical pieces—these memory capsules—I think we risk forgetting the very experiences that shaped us.

Still, I genuinely respect those who choose differently, and I have to say, Chris’s collection is clearly very thoughtfully curated and incredibly well-preserved. It’s a fascinating archive, and I wish him all the best in whatever comes next.

I have 5000 records that I love, so you did Chris a solid, even though you had to pay ... Way up ! I could have cleaned up on my most recent haul of mint grails ( mostly ) .. But I stopped at 28 records that I really wanted. I like his art ( Chris ) as well ! Congrats 😊

@MonieMuse

Oh.. wow beautiful mazzy star collection 💜 thank you for sharing your record adventure w us!

@MickSupper

I just saw The Damned this past weekend. They were so nice and stayed out back signing autographs and chit chatting for probably 2 hours and heard a lot of stories that probably no one else has heard.

@ActualChef

This is astounding. Good lord.

@VinylandKicks86

@lilyverilla4431

There has been a reprint of Black Rider. It was redone for the album's 30th anniversary by Waits and Brennan on Island in 2023. Still an og is SICKSICKSICK.

@ao1200

@DevonPatrick16

I’m so glad you were able to stumble upon a collection. Like this. You do such great stuff on Whatnot, so you deserve this. And he’s very lucky as well to have someone as knowledgeable and passionate as you to find his records new homes. Match made in Heaven

@toddz608

So much good stuff but DOWN - NOLA would definitely be the one I would most want for my library.

@twangersturntable

What an absolutely stellar assortment of vinyl. Wow! Good on you to show some love for the source of this haul. Very classy. Cheers! ✌️🍻

@CultoalViniloyalCompacto-bx5mr

Pretty sure he began his collection in the early 90's and kept collecting over the years. He has great taste, never seen a vinyl collection like this. I have everything 90's on CD, can't afford to have it on vinyl.

@Metal-Heaven-Records

Wow!!! Unbelievable! What a great collection with many rarities! Great! Thanks for sharing! 🤩
