Great video.
I personally use Dragon Shield perfect fit sleeves and their deck/matte sleeves. Absolutely love their quality

@orichumo

Dragon shield also makes Yu-Gi-Oh size sleeves

@sparktite

I wish you did some coverage of the holographic sleeves. The quality on them varies dramatically and it could be entertaining. It also would be useful for those of us that want to try and use a double sleeved setup to have a 'holo' inner sleeve.

I see lots of conflicting info on the holo sleeves and which ones even can fit with double sleeving depending out the sizing and all that ofc.

Just discovered your channel and just want to say thanks for what you do as this is all such helpful info especially to someone like myself thats just now collecting pokemon cards with my daughter so it's a little hard to know how to go about protecting like with sleeves, top loaders, binders etc and your really helpful with all this.

Wish you and the channel the best and I'll be sure to check out every video!

@Delcatty16

Pretty much any card sleeve is good for protecting cards when putting them in binders or storage. The Perfect Fit sealable sleeves are clearly the best at full protection of the cards. But when it comes to actually playing the games and needing to shuffle often, none do it better than Dragon Shield. Dragon Shield also offer "Clear Matte Outer" sleeves that are designed to be used with cards that are already sleeved. So you can turn the lower quality sleeves into good playable sleeves if you're okay with double sleeving your deck. Best example is the Konami sleeves for Yu-Gi-Oh! decks. The Konami sleeves often have really nice designs and look great, but they also are notorious for being sticky and "losing their shuffle" after a game or two. Or the ETB sleeves for Standard size. In my experience, ETB sleeves rip easily when shuffling and using the outer sleeves from Dragon Shield effectively turn them into Dragon Shield sleeves and can be used for longer. And even better, they protect the sleeves they're covering, so if you have a limited run set of sleeves, or ones with a really cool design that you want to use for a long time, you can just replace the Outer Sleeves once they eventually "die out"
But if you're just collecting and putting the cards on display, the penny sleeves are pretty good. They can also typically hold more than one card so you could put playsets of a specific card into one penny sleeve and since they're very cheap sleeves, getting the sleeve scuffed isn't a bad thing and can always be replaced.

@cMARVEL360

I make use of a small handful of sleeves for Yugioh.

I use Dragon Shield to Double Sleeve all my cards of Value for the Collection, and for my Dueling Deck.

But for my Collection I keep some in a Binder and others i use BCW Toploaders for storage.

Then finally I use BCW Penny sleeves for general storage once pulled from the Pack.

The very instant i pull a card, I instantly put it in a Penny Sleeve, then I find it's value snd decide if it's gonna be Double Sleeved and Toploaded or just kept in a Penney Sleeve.

I collect Six Samurai cards, and i keep the most mint cards in thr Binder.

@d.freely

Hey! 1 year since you published this video and still very helpfull. BIG THANKS! I was looking for sleeves with a textured/matte back and a clear front so with your review I was able to make my choise!

@MirzaBaig77777

So for protecting a card the best before getting it graded - what would you suggest? Now, how about a card that is multiple thousands of dollars but you don't want to grade it for obvious reasons - what would you sleeve that in?

@reptar5124

I have lots of Dragonsheilds for Mtg decks, and once i tried the Eclipse, I preferred them slightly, but the difference is negligible.. for binder cards, I just use VaultX, KMC, or Ultra Pro perfect fits into an Ultra Pro penny sleeve (double sleeve for the more valuable).

@nickbell8223

Thanks for this video!
Gonna go purchase some sleeves rn

@chriscookesuffolk

Thanks for your tips..I'm new to sleeving and this video helped me decide on my sleeve strategy. Cheers.

@DeividasGedgaudas

When I started collecting the first sleeves I got were Titanshield as Amazon shippes them to Europe and now I sadly can't use any other sleeve as they never have the feel of "I CAN SAFELY HANDLE A CARD" that titanshield has. Only downside - stacking cards take MORE SPACE xd and they're quite pricey.

@DaGreatBadBeano

Coming back after having my collection going for about half a year (about 1 month ago) and i gotta say that I love Titan Shield (Regular Black Japanese sized [yellow branding]sleeves) and penny sleeve combo but now I want a better binder

@sirmaster8972

Really disappointed we didn’t get a shuffle 😂

@mawliwan094

Dragon Shield perfect fit resealable / Dragon Shield Clear Classics is THE combo.

@saralkumar5071

What about those that blur the holo foil like I want the ones that are the MOST clear!! Any suggestions?

@BloodMoonFT

Thank you for this video! I'm just getting into card collecting with Goddess of Victory NIKKE and I'll be buying the dragon shield!

@treats9081

Great video. I've always used ETB sleeves for my pokemon cards. No issues, but I could see there being a problem if you take them in and out a lot

@magusofthebargain

Great start! Please buy more sleeves and do a follow up video!!

@David_Quinn1995

I like BCW sleeves over all but if I am at my local card shop and need some and they have UltraPro I will buy them, with Pokémon ETB sleeves I am not a massive fan but will use them for my cards to for trade if I have any on hand.
