I’m a teen guy and I’ve made rap music on my phone and wrote lyrics my family is moving to a new house and I’m finally going to have my own room I’m planning on making my own room recording studio so this helps a lot thank you šŸ™šŸ½

@HellboyMob

Scored my first producer job after watching videos like this for 6 years, no college degree just passion and work ethic. If you want it bad enough you’ll find a way, so yeah life šŸ good!

@BeersAndBeatsPDX

Something to add would be a good chair. You're going to be sitting anywhere from 1 to 10+ hours, a cheap office or gaming chair will cause you so much back pain that it will be unbearable. A good office chair is something you won't notice until it's time to stand up and you're not hunched over like a 90 year old construction worker.

@MartyNotes

3 things.
Never use beats by dre in the studio.

 Dont sit monitors on the table with the computer without isolation under the monitors. Otherwise, it will vibrate and can damage the hard drive's disks.

For cheap sound isolation, moving blankets and bed topper foam works great.

Have fun and be creative ChampsšŸ†

@my3sneezes

I have been trying to set this up for my son for hobby purposes for 2 years. So many things learned through trial and error, research and frustration. Where was this video two years ago! Excellent info

@balzize

If I could label it as the ā€œperfect video for beginnersā€, I would.

Always wanted to learn about music production and videos like these are really the ā€œmake or breakā€ for amateurs like me. Something goes wrong and you just lose interest in what you were set to do.

A great stepping stone. Thanks.

@LogiDoesItYT

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I am ten years old and this is probably the best video i have ever watched. i really want to be a musician when im older and this a really good starting point for me

@brownpunk1794

Reaper guy here!
If ur a simpleton..like me..this is the best out there with ease of use plus all the bells and whistles of a the big guns e.g. pt..ableton etc.

@EgoShredder

One highly important point to mention about condensor mics, is NEVER plug them in when the phantom power is switched on, and NEVER disconnect when this power is still on. Always plug in and then turn on the phantom power and allow a minute or two for the mic to warm up. Before disconnecting always turn off phantom power first. It only takes one bad connect/disconnect to trash your expensive microphone.

Brother I subscribed . I won BBC xtra awards 2018 and started out exactly like that .you have the whole world in a nutshell that way to start and can upgrade on software and plug ins after that . I literally went on till my laptop crashed on the CPU use and open a new studio soon in Miami but this time much bigger as my song gave me good revenue.. thanks to winning BBC xtra awards with big collaborations coming soon .so I invest in better now . To all producers and recording studio lovers high five cheers Ax .

@LyricalLyrics

A really tight budget is me right now using Garage Band on my phone and a pair of wired headphones 🤣🤣

@walterdavidscottnongkynrih543

I'm already a drummer,all I want these equipments to fit my bed room with sound proof materials so I cannot disturb my family members and neighbours as well."perfect video for beginners",thanks a lot for your kind advice.

@TherealSIRenity

If you’re a beginner. FL studio will be the best DAW to use. For one my personal opinion it’s one of the easiest DAWS to learn how to use and two: once you purchase FL, you get free upgrades for life anytime FL drops another version

@joy211191

You missed out the part that Reaper is technically free to start with and gives everything that is needed to do professional grade production

@FabianASMR

A different setup that got me through my first stage of rap.
iPhoneāœ…
garage bandāœ…
blue yetiāœ…
 usb to lightning adapterāœ…
… boom

@fritsvanzanten3573

Another aspect may be this one: when you're a beginner you may want to experiment with certain things before spending a lot of money on software. There (still) is a lot a freeware on the web. However, this most often is 32 bits. The quality can be very good. But when your DAW only supports 64 bits this will rob you of this change to try all kinds of software to get skilled or make up your mind about it. Sometimes/often quality of freeware may be not so good, but when you want to try out sleigh bells, tubular bells etc. it may matter.

@realnegativeiq

For a computer & daw, what I did was buy a used I Mac & then hacked Logic Pro onto it. It cost me $200 for both the computer & daw. It’s great if you’re a beginner!

@ArmaniStudio

I’m a producer, and I think you did a great job explaining this!! People don’t realize you don’t need a lot of money, to produce good tunes!!

@3nertia

Why does this say "2025" if it's 3 years old? Just for this engagement right here?
