Does the father not realize how many of us have seen the videos of the children and how they were treated before Jodie? He failed as a father in protecting his children and he is failing to take responsibility. Jodie had access to the kids because BOTH parents allowed it. Both parents FAILED these kids!!

There is lots of video evidence of him allowing Ruby to abuse their children in vlogs before Jodie was even in the picture. This man should be charged with child neglect, he did not even bother to check on his children even once and he never would have. If it wasn't for his child escaping to get help the children would still be being abused by Ruby and Jodie.

Kevin, it's not what you did, it's what you didn't do. You are responsible for protecting your kids. You should've checked in on them, you should have stepped in. From what I've heard, those kids were completely abandoned.

This interview did not make the impression he hoped. He's making excuses and not showing true remorse. Kevin ignored his oldest daughter, who was on the same college campus where he worked, even when she basically begged for him to talk to her and expressed her sense of being abandoned by her parents. He could have been the one to have kept his children safe and secure. He chose not to.

What got to me was when the dad was told about his child being tied up, bound, starved and finally escaped to a neighbours house and the dad was being interviwed and said " how is MY WIFE, I LOVE MY WIFE SO MUCH" , he didn't ask about his poor babies being in the hospital with wounds and starved OR ask to go and see them, JUST how much he loved his wife !!!!! I'm pleased the kids are healing and sending love to them all xxx
