Even without his eye of foresight active, Rudeus could have won this match, but it would have taken a bit longer. He himself thinks in the novel that Luke was a surprisingly easy opponent and realizes that everyone he has fought before like Eris, Ghislaine, Ruijerd, Paul and that one saint rank north god style swordsman he defeated in the great forest were actually really strong.

The opponents Rudeus has faced up until that point are light years above anything Luke will ever achieve. He would be stomped by Eris. The monsters from the demon continent would be a life or death battle for him, and he would still lose. For Rudeus this was like playing with a kid.

People seems to forget Rudeus literally trained since he was a child, survived in a continent filled up with monsters and survive Ostred. By this point he already is powerful enough to be a threat to ant kingdom

Fun fact, the magic items Luke wears (including items that buff his speed, endurance, and strength) total to cost more than Rudy's house. And our boy still bodied him. Dude can go toe to toe with sword saints and kings even without battle aura.
