Fun fact from the Spanish (Mexico) version of the series: she tells her henchmen that they are so incompetent that “they should go to digimon instead”
It took literal divine intervention to stop her. Let that sink in. EDIT: I only now just realise the pun lol.
The writer's were wildin when they wrote her.
> Show up > Effortlessly stomp Ash, Gardevoir and Team Rocket > Try to murder a 10 year old and most of your crew > Kidnap Pokemon Goku > Try to murder a 10 year old again > Dog 7 Legendaries with ease > Nuke a lake for no discernible reason > Become the richest person alive > Drown > Refuse to Elaborate Hunter J grindset
The Lake Trio were out for blood ong
The Pokémon Company: we have a family friendly show, so lets keep it that way! Diamond and Pearl writers: lets make J a kidnapper and potential murderer.
She died thanks to future sight. Even after uxie, mesprit, and azelf first got locked into bronze, they still got the last laugh
J was that one-in-a-trillion talent that the writers desperately needed to spice up the series. The fact that 2 lake gaurdians had to take her down speaks immense volumns about J's villianous intentions
That smile Uxie gave after launching a future sight gives me chills every time. Menacing!!!
You should talk about the time Paul got his ass justifiably walloped by Brandon and his 3 Regis
The way she be acting, could had sworn she came from Palworld
J was the first "I can fix her" crush I ever had as a child, and that was before I even knew what that was. Still the best anime-original character in Pokemon and I will stand by that forever.
J was on demon timing the whole Diamond and Pearl saga, bro. She’s easily one of the coldest villains in this franchise’s history.
J's Salamence took two Zap Cannons and a Flash Cannon from three Legendary Pokemon and came out without even a scratch. Seriously, it's easily the most powerful Salamence in the entire anime. J's Salamence vs Cynthia's Garchomp would be the battle of the century.
A villain so cold they had to kill her off because you can't stop her from chasing the bag
Im so glad Pokemon Hunter J died in the end. Its a kids show so I know her death couldnt be portrayed explicitly but the show was subtle enough to show the viewers shes definitely dead. 1. Her ship sank under the sea 2. We see a scene where the water pressure went inside the ship right in front of her. 3. To make sure you know she didnt escape, you see her visor that she was wearing sinking underwater.
I love how Hunter J's name has resurfaced recently because of Spinel from Pokemon Horizons. I love how Spinel is so irredeemable that there's now a debate between whether he or Hunter J are the most evil characters in the anime
I think that this is the worst a Pokémon Bounty Hunter can possibly be. Thank Arceus, she met her end. She would have been more of a threat over time with Mega Salamence.
Nah, Hunter J was too dangerous of a villain that it took essentially the Gods (or God's children) of the Pokémon world to do her in 😂
