Mike Tyson winning the heavyweight title was the most exciting inevitable thing that ever happened. After about 15 pro fights, anyone who knew anything about boxing knew that Mike Tyson was the best heavyweight on the planet, and there wasn't a close second. Still, it was absolutely thrilling to watch him go into the ring and just dominate people.

It's amazing what a person can do with the right support system. At this time--Tyson is completely focused on boxing--nothing else. He's got people there who truly love and care for him. The structure that Cus D'Amato and Kevin Rooney provided him is EXACTLY what Tyson needed to maximize his fighting potential.
