Mike's strength, size, speed, endurance all at the age of 20 years old proved he was a complete freak of nature. really quite unbelievable.
This is how I choose to remember mike fighting. Not shuffling around at 58. The BADDEST MAN ALIVE!
I've watched this fight dozens of times and will never tire of it. Absolutely vintage Iron Mike.
For 25 years I've been watching Tyson fights . I need my fix about once a week
I can't think of another boxer who routinely made the toughest dudes in the world look scared when they got in the ring with him. Iron Mike was nasty.
The world of boxing misses Tyson
Never boxed in my life, never watched other boxers matches, but Tyson made me do it. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to live the same time with this guy.
That first round felt like the longest round in history. I can only imagine what it felt like for poor Berbick, an eternity maybe.
I've never seen a 19 year old kid built like that with such speed and power.
You can tell in trevor’s eyes in the beginning he knew he lost this one
Mike Tyson winning the heavyweight title was the most exciting inevitable thing that ever happened. After about 15 pro fights, anyone who knew anything about boxing knew that Mike Tyson was the best heavyweight on the planet, and there wasn't a close second. Still, it was absolutely thrilling to watch him go into the ring and just dominate people.
Even though Mike wanted to destroy him he still showed good sportsmanship at the end good job champ
It's amazing what a person can do with the right support system. At this time--Tyson is completely focused on boxing--nothing else. He's got people there who truly love and care for him. The structure that Cus D'Amato and Kevin Rooney provided him is EXACTLY what Tyson needed to maximize his fighting potential.
Vicious hook by Burbick at 3:16, but the speed in which Tyson ducks it is inhuman.
"He's gonna get clipped, believe me people, you can't fight Tyson like this" Truer words were never spoken!
Ali in the crowd, mike Tyson being an absolute demon coming for Trevor's soul, and Teddy Atlas commentating the whole damn thing...
There never will be another. The most powerful punches ever. Amazing footwork and head movement.
I watched this fight live. I ordered "Pizza Time" pizza in Shillington, PA. Great fight. Great pizza.
The great Bob "the colonel" Sheridan died a few days ago. Thank you for all the memorable calls over the years RIP
