I have been to the island a few times as a kid in the 60's - 70's and also around 2011 (the last time with my Japanese wife). I am retired Air Force and have traveled the world, but nothing really compares to northern MI. I really enjoyed this video as it showed me places on the island that I had never seen before. The fall colors were so beautiful! Thank you!

I worked there for a month back in the 80s when I was in college. So magical and beautiful! But I’ve never seen the island in the fall. I think I like the fall foliage better!

Thank you for sharing this. What a magnificent area at this time of year. I loved the day this was taken with part overcast and part sunny skies. This added so much character to the scenery. It was like watching a moving painting. Every continuous view was it's own treasure and the mood changed with the lighting from cloudy to sunny and back again. I didn't see one car... only bicycles and horse drawn vehicles. What do people do for going to other places? They need long distance transportation... but I didn't see any. Gordon
