You don't need a blastcone, you can also use dragon knock up. I just tested in customs

That GP Combo is pretty fire ngl, might start incorporating it into my actual GP Plays plus i can easily put Hexflash into my build, i can just go First Strike. Really nice stuff.

Also another thing with a hex flash it messes up with abilities that use multiple hit boxes(i think). The prime example of it is sett's E. If you use hex flash, do not move, hover your cursor reeealy close to your character, then use E, the hit box will be moved in that direction. In this case, sett's e will have double the range. Also works with aatrox's Q, for example.

As stupidly broken as this could potentially be in a real game, I honestly wouldn't even be mad if I was getting shit on by someone that could pull these mechanics off, like it looks difficult, and it's also stylish as hell. I really hope riot doesn't patch this out, or at least they make it an official mechanic and not a bug.
