This video was so interesting! I have never seen a mecha anime, I always skip them because i don't like battle animes. But you gave me a new point of view of it. Maybe I´ll try one of them. Btw, what an amazing editing, and thanks for the subtitles, it makes it much easier to understand (i speak spanish)

This video is so good and interesting. For otakos that hate mecha I think you have never experienced the two shows sdh talked about. I had the chance to watch them you recommended both of them to me and you know how good I love them and how much I learned from them. As I always tell you I see anime like books I learn from them and they entertain me ♥️what else can I ask for Anime is truly something amazing ♥️. By the way you should do two separate videos in the future about gurren lagann and evengalioun

No mention of Starship Troopers? They started the real robot genre with their Mobile Infantry, heck Gundam copied the name with their Mobile Suits. To be fair Starship Troopers is American, but it ignited the need for realistic Japanese Mecha Anime.

Okay look, i love mecha anime and im always looking for videos that talk about mecha. But this seems like you just wanted to talk about Gurren Lagann and Evangelion. You mentioned Gainax is very important and all, but you didn't even talk about Gunbuster which is my favorite mecha anime they've made. You also didn't mention Evangelion was largely inspired by Ultraman. This video is not bad but it seems a bit click bait.
