Brown Butter Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe✨
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter (3/4 cup browned, 1/4 cup softened)
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup walnuts (heaping, chopped)
S sea salt (for sprinkling, optional)
Instructions:
-Brown the Butter: In a saucepan, melt 3/4 cup of unsalted butter over medium heat, stirring frequently until it turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
-In a mixing bowl, combine the browned butter with the remaining 1/4 cup of softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
-Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
-In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
-Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
-Chill the Dough: Cover the dough and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
-Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, sprinkle with coarse sea salt if desired, and bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
-Let cool before enjoying!

1 1/2 cups (188g) all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup (120ml) oil (olive, vegetable, or melted coconut oil)
2/3 cup (133g) sugar
2 large eggs (room temperature)
3/4 cup (180g) plain Greek yogurt (room temperature)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
2 apples (diced for the batter, sliced for the top)
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds (optional)
1/4 cup walnuts (optional)
Instructions:
-Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
-Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
-In another bowl, whisk oil, sugar, eggs, yogurt, vanilla, lemon juice, and zest.
-Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in diced apples.
-Pour batter into the pan, top with apple slices, pumpkin seeds, and walnuts.
-Bake for 50–55 minutes. Let cool for 30 minutes before serv
