The event was held on 19th November, Veer Raghav Moran Diwas in Dirak , Assam celebrating his 288th Death Anniversary.
In 1769, Bir Raghav Moran, the great hero organized the exploited and oppressed common people and led the world’s first mass revolution against the misrule of the dictatorial monarchy. Raghav Moran was a heroic fighter possessing the extraordinary organizational capability, war strategy and tactical skills, patriotism and bravery. This is a matter of pride not only for the Moran community but for the entire Assamese nation also.
