What is an Italian Long Hot Pepper?

In this video, Kevin talks about two varieties of pepper plants that are supposed to be Italian Long Hots.

Italian Long Hots (aka Long Hot Pepper) can typically be found in supermarkets in the Northeast part of the U.S., particularly in and around Philadephia. Similar varieties can also usually be found in Asian supermarkets. But if you've ever tried looking for the plant, you probably know they're hard to come across.

What I've found so far on the Internet:

Farmer Phil's - www.farmerphils.com/pepper-italian-long-hot.php - Description states "all pepper have a mild but somewhat spicy flavor." The picture of the peppers on the seed pack also look more like cayenne peppers, whereas Italian Long Hots are thicker, more twisted and curled, and have wrinkled skin.

Reimer Seeds - www.reimerseeds.com/italian-roaster-hot-peppers.as… - These are clearly cayenne peppers and not Italian Long Hots.
