I Attempted My First Pokemon Nuzlocke in 10 Years

Over 10 years ago, my Pokemon SoulSilver Nuzlocke run ended in defeat. But today, I challenged myself to attempt the same Nuzlocke Challenge again, using the same rules as last time. Surely 10 years of additional Pokémon knowledge will make a difference, right?

Rules for this run:
1. Fainting = Deadge
2. Catch the first encounter on every route (gift Pokemon don't count)
3. Nickname Pokémon
4. Play on "Set" battle mode
5. No items in battle (held items okay)
6. Duplicate clause: no catching the same Pokemon, including previously caught Pokemon's evolutions. If encountering a duplicate, continue encounters until a new Pokemon is found
