Update on the large Madre Fire burning in central California

The #MadreFire ignited Wednesday afternoon between #bakersfield #california and #santamaria and had burned over 50,000 acres by Thursday afternoon.

Highway 166 between Cuyama and Santa Maria will be closed until July 5th. Meteorologist Kris Kuyper shows us more about the fire, including where the smoke plume will go, in this clip.
