Pruning pepper plants all result in healthier plants and higher yields.

There are different methods out there, but I want to share with you guys my routine on pruning Peppers. (Remember I am in Zone 10B , I don’t have frost date, so I normally do this mid-season ) 👍

All first Harvest, you noticed the peppers always look perfect, and after that the size getting smaller, the shape getting wonky…. .

So after the first big harvest , I usually prune all my pepper. This method almost same as you prune for over winter pepper.

In this reels I show you how I prune just above the 3rd or 4th node, counting up from the bottom. This will allow more light to reach lower nodes, triggering new growth .
after pruning, I add all purpose fertilizer, mulch and water. In a couple weeks, new branches will grow and you got the bushy pepper again 👍💚
