Music Awards Japan Nominations: Japan's Answer to the Grammy Awards?

Music Awards Japan is a new award show that will showcase J-Pop to the rest of the world which is already popular in the world of anime but is on the rise to the same level as K-Pop in general. This is not the first major award show in Japan that celebrates J-Pop since they also have the Japan Record Awards. Unlike that award show, Music Awards Japan is appealing to not only the domestic audience but also the rest of the world with how the award show will be broadcast. I go through all of the nominations of the new award show which could be a four-way battle between Fujii Kaze, Mrs. Green Apple, YOASOBI, and Creepy Nuts and I also talk about fandoms determining the audience choice awards.
