6 THINGS I LEARNED WHEN I QUIT SHOPPING+ FAST FASHION FOR 2 YEARS (How you can shop sustainably too)

Here are 6 positive things I gained when I quit shopping for almost 2 years. Prior, I was only buying cheap fast fashion, but once I stopped; a lot of things came forward such as learning to be more creative with my outfits using only what I had. Fast fashion was such a big supplier of clothing in my life; 2 years ago I went cold-turkey and stopped buying it in exchange for 100% biodegradable clothing or only thrifted clothing to prevent more waste or prevent it from ending up as plastic in the landfill. It also curbed the urge for some of the more trendy items that I might've normally have purchased in the short term. The minimalism of this allowed me to reassess my purchases prior and I ended up realizing I had more clothing than I may ever need; already in my own closet; leading to more slow fashion and sustainable fashion cycle.
